LiK data used in a multi-country study on age and risk-taking

The LiK data was used in a study of aging and risk preferences published by Liu and her co-authors in the Journals of Gerontology: Series B and titled “Life-Course Trajectories of Risk-Taking Propensity: A Coordinated Analysis of Longitudinal Studies”. The results – based on data from 19 countries – reveal a negative relation between age and risk-taking propensity, and consistently lower levels of risk taking by females.
