LiK Study is presented at IAMO workshop
The LiK Study was presented by Damir Esenaliev and Tilman Brück at the workshop
on Agricultural Innovations, Rural Development and Globalization Processes in Central Asia conducted on 17 February 2020 by Leibniz Institute of Agricultural Development in Transition Economies (IAMO) in Halle (Germany).
The LiK Study is one of the micro-level data sources to conduct empirical research on agriculture. During the fifth and the sixth wave of data collection in 2016 and 2019, the LiK Study collected detailed information on land use, crop choice, inputs, productivity, as well as marketing and export strategies. The LiK data allows an in-depth assessment of the long-term economic and nutritional benefits of horticultural production, commercialization and exports, as well as land use changes in Kyrgyzstan.
