Harald Grethe

Prof. Harald Grethe has been a Professor of Agricultural Development and Trade at the Humboldt University of Berlin since 2016. Previously, he headed the Department of Agricultural and Food Policy at the University of Hohenheim. From 2012 to 2020, he served as the Chair of the Scientific Advisory Board on Agricultural Policy, Food and Consumer Health Protection at the Federal Ministry of Food and Agriculture (WBAE). In May 2024, he was appointed to the Scientific Advisory Board on Nature-based Climate Action at the Federal Ministry for the Environment (WBNK).
