LiK partners gather in Giessen for a workshop

To advance work on the most recent wave of the Life in Kyrgyzstan Study, collected in 2025, project partners convened for a workshop on 22–23 January 2026 at Justus Liebig University Giessen (JLU). Representatives from ISDC, IGZ, IAMO, JLU, and University of Central Asia participated in the meeting.

The workshop focused on reviewing ongoing partner activities aimed at improving access to LiK data for both internal and external users, agreeing on the structure and content of a new LiK survey paper, and discussing current as well as prospective LiK fundraising initiatives.
